Annually, the workers of Hearst Castle are permitted to swim in the opulent Roman Pool. In 1984 and 1985, tour guides Michelle and Emily have as much fun as they are emotionally capable of. The Roman Pool switches the two conversations: 1984 Michelle speaks with 1985 Emily, while 1984 Emily speaks with 1985 Michelle, creating a discordant, confusing and lively spectacle of storytelling.
